- Bonfire event details
- Speaker – 30 min speaker starting at 7pm, hopefully resulting in a 45min meeting. Will ask somebody with less time (18m to 3y ish). Katherine will be the trusted servant and decide on someone and ask them.
- Food – Motion for UP TO $75 for food for the event, seconded, passed. Decided on a taco bar and smores.
- Hopefully pre make food so we don’t have to use Lisa’s kitchen
- Price of sparkling water and energy drinks – $1 for sparkling water, $3 for 1 energy drink, 2 for $5
- Firewood and pokers – have some disposable ones leftover from last year (should be in the stuff at Jessica’s house)
- WE NEED CHAIRS – encourage everybody to bring their chairs (beach / lawn chairs)
- Unity announcements week before the event!
- Set up tentatively at 6pm
- Goal to get 5 pre-regs from non-committee members at the event

- Pre registering before a certain date automatically enters you in a raffle for a prize (bundle of old merch). Live drawing at the December event?
- Clara’s suggestions for reducing cost:
YPAA or SLC area AA groups sponsor meals, UCYPAA only provides dinner. Would suggest Elizabeth, volunteer coordinator and each of us bringing this to our home groups.
- Clara makes a motion that we do hospitality sponsored. Elizabeth seconds. Motion passes!!

- Ask group thoughts about Pre-making merch baskets for monthly events. Include stickers, mugs, and tees, from previous years. No raffle, just a ticket drawn with a suggested donation to our event. Create enthusiasm for UCYPAA, encourage/remind contribution, and eliminate back stock for new merch. If interested, get a few committee volunteers together before the next in person meeting.
